TDBridge may suddenly stop processing orders
Last Updated 9 years ago

Problem description:
We have already dealt with a large number of support cases where the EPSON TDBridge service suddenly gets stuck for no particular reason. Jobs will show a status "submitted" in Perennity, but there is no further processing.

Problem analysis steps:
When this problem occurs, check the folder C:\EPSON\TDBridge\Orders. If the recent order files there have a .JDF extension, it means that TDBridge is not processing these orders.

How to resolve?
You may try to simply restart the TDBridge Control Service, but there's no guarantee that will solve the problem. It is also a good idea to check the orders folder (usually C:\EPSON\TDBridge\Orders) and to remove any old or obsolete order files and logs.

Reinstall EPSON TDBridge software:
If the previous suggestions don't solve the problem, we suggest you to uninstall EPSON TDBridge. After that manually delete (or rename) the folder C:\EPSON. Then reinstall TDBridge using the installer (setup.exe); use the defaults for the installation. Finally set the EPSON TDBridge Control Service to automatic startup, start it and test.
